Pay what you want.

Want to discover your joy? I’m offering my services to you.

Pay what you want?

Yes. I mean that.

I began doing this joy work because I needed it.

You might need it too.

After a lifetime of dealing with the effects of long-term stress from a traumatic childhood, and the pounding unpleasantness of the last few years in the world, I needed to play, to take more time for myself, and discover more of my own joy.

So I began meditating every morning again, no matter what.  I’ve been a practicing Buddhist for more than 20 years, and the lessons I’ve learned from that work inform everything I do. In fact, before I film a video for Instagram, I listen to this mantra for 30 minutes first. I’m reminding myself that I’m not doing this work for any particular gain. Instead, I hope that my work will help others.

More than 20 years ago, I took the formal vows to declare myself a Buddhist. I also took the Bodhisattva vow, which means I vowed to work to help others to achieve peace of mind, through lovingkindness.

My joy work is an extension of that vow.

And so, I’ve decided to practice radical kindness here.

There is joy in giving.

The Joy of Writing Your Own Story workshop, my personal coaching, and the Rediscover Your Joy workshop? They’re all pay what you want.

You pay what the experience is worth to you, while balancing the means you have to pay for it. You decide how much the workshop costs for you.

If you click on the sales page for any of those offerings, you’ll see  that I’ve set a suggested minimum of $100 for each experience. If that is truly too much for you, please email me and we can talk.

And of course, if you want to give more, to pay it forward for the next person, then by all means do so.

Then, show up.

(I’m suggesting a minimum because I’m not interested in wasting my time with people who decide to pay me 5 cents to fill workshops with false names. Boundaries matter.)

After, if you find that the workshop or mentoring helped you, then you can pay it back by gifting someone else the experience. Or, give to someone else in need. Pay it forward.

I’m working from a place of abundance. I have so much joy in this world. I’d like to give back to you.

So yes, you can pay what you want.
