YOU’RE INVITED.

JULY 18TH TO AUGUST 29TH

It’s time for camp!
Forget hot girl summer.
This is the summer of
embracing who we are.

Relaxation.
Fierce Compassion.
Connection.

What kind of woman attends Camp Curiosity?

Women who were labeled gifted as kids and have spent the rest of their lives in anxiety, trying to live up to that ideal.

Women who identified with the doll on the Island of Misfit Toys, even though you never understood what made her a misfit. (It turns out that the creator believed she had “emotional problems.” Because, of course he did.)

Women who’ve never been good at cleaning their houses or organizing their schedules because their creative projects always pulsed more powerfully alive in their minds than the desire to pick up socks off the floor, again.

Women who felt triumph in their bodies when Wanda recognized her power and transformed into Scarlet Witch.

Any woman who reads this and feels seen.

You.

Here are some of our Camptivities.

Morning Bulletin

Every morning, you’ll receive the
daily schedule, with suggestions for
creativity and joy.
Let’s play.

Daily Mindfulness

Every day,
you’ll receive a link to a new
mindfulness video I’ve created for you.
Let’s be present.

Monday discussions

Every Monday,
we’ll have an online conversation
about the topic of the week.
Let’s share our stories.

Thursday creative time

Every Thursday,
we’ll have a conversation
with a powerful woman artist,
then hold space to create.
Let’s make art.

Saturday watch party

Every Saturday,
we’ll watch videos
and share memes that felt accurate.
Let’s learn and laugh.

Variety shows

Every 4 weeks,
we’ll each offer a talent or story
to each other online.
Let’s share ourselves.

Create community

Every day, any time,
you can log onto our
camp social media network.
Let’s learn to know each other.

In-person gatherings

Once a week,
women who can be on Vashon
will gather together in person.
Let’s meet each other.

Don’t panic!

You don’t have to show up for every single activity and event. In fact, we’d be worried if you did.

Camp Curiosity is flexible. We already know you’re exhausted.

• Come to any online sessions you want.

• Join us for mindfulness whenever you want.

• Take a week or two off for vacation.

• Decide you’re only coming for the movies.

• Choose the path that works for your sensory needs and schedule.

You make the choice.

Despite the fact that I'm leery of doing group inner work and have been on Zoom way too much in the last couple of years, I'm an emphatic YES to anything Shauna offers. The way she leads a group makes you feel like you're sitting around a table chatting with old friends about what really matters. She sprinkles helpful guidance into the conversation and lots of cathartic laughter. I always leave feeling connected, recharged, relaxed, curious, joyful, and more like myself. Her 8-week workshop was such a gift to my worn-out self.

“Shauna is a rare gem and one of the most genuine people I know. There’s so much truth and wisdom in her words. She creates a safe community of strong, beautiful women, who learn to drop their armor and share vulnerable stories with each other. I leave every conversation feeling inspired. I know I’m not the same person I was before I started working with Shauna and the other women in her program. I’m so grateful for all that Shauna’s doing, and for the community of women I’ve met.”

I have found such solace and support in what Shauna shares in her Zoom sessions. The weekly sessions with Shauna and the wonderful women she gathered from around the world helped me to save my mind during the pandemic. Shauna doesn’t gloss over the dark and frightening times - she frankly acknowledges the trauma most of us have in our lives, in one way or another. She isn’t a fake purveyor of positive-only drivel - she is honest,  and has been through it, and has so many ways of coping, managing, rising! She does the research and shares the science, and she also extends a hand and a virtual hug and a great, hearty laugh! I am glad to count her as a friend, now.
